portrait and event process

I photograph families based on who they are. Some families are formal with a bit of casual and some clients are very raw and documentary. I thrive on matching my approach to each unique family to give a blend of images you will never tire of.

The same goes with editing. I edit general family and event portraits in a clean and timeless way. Documentary images are edited in a natural and “raw” way since it matches the feeling of those images.

Here is a helpful timeline of what my portrait and event process is like.

A follow up email after your retainer and contract is received that confirms your appointment on my calendar.

– 1 week before your appointment –
A check-in email or call is given.  I go over every detail given to me (locations, timeline, etc.) and also see if any changes or adjustments that need to be made.

I arrive typically 20-30 minutes early to every appointment to check out everything before you arrive. If I am arriving at your home, I might still be early because I am paranoid on being late.
